Frequently Asked
Questions

I know you probably have a million questions running through your mind when it comes to planning.

  • Venue coordinators are wonderful and super helpful but their focus is making sure the venue runs smoothly. This means there are limits to what they handle (such as running the rehearsal, décor setup and teardown, being onsite all day, and coordinating with all vendors), not just venue staff. Ultimately, you want someone fully in your corner on your wedding day.

  • Once you are booked, you’ll immediately get access to my extensive checklist of planning materials. Expect frequent check-ins from me along the way.  I’ll then rejoin your planning process 8 weeks prior to the wedding date to assist and advise you in the time leading up to the wedding day.

  • Travel is included 60 miles from Charlotte, MI. If your celebration takes me on a longer journey, travel fees do apply.

  • I don’t have set hours because every wedding is different. I am one of the first to arrive and I’m there through dinner and stay for an additional hour afterward, making sure all the formalities such as toasts, special dances, and other key moments are wrapped up smoothly.

  • Yes! Depending on your guest count, additional assistants may be required to ensure everything runs smoothly and nothing is missed. If needed, each additional assistant is $250.

  • No problem at all, I’ve got it covered. Events with multiple locations do require a $200 additional fee to account for extra planning, travel time, and coordinating between venues so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • With the additional Exit and Tear Down Package ($200) I stay on site through the end of your reception to coordinate your grand exit and handle all end-of-night details. This includes overseeing vendor tear-down, packing up personal décor, preparing rentals for pickup, coordinating transportation, delivering personal items, and stepping in wherever needed.

Exit & Tear-Down services apply to personal décor only and do not include venue-owned items or heavy lifting.

  • I do! Whether your officiant is a professional or a close friend, I’m there to guide the process. I’ll organize your wedding party, cue the processional, assist your officiant, and make sure everyone knows their role. By the end of rehearsal, your entire party will feel confident and ready.

  • It’s not about can you, it’s about should you. Even the most organized people shouldn’t be the ones putting out fires on their wedding day. Let me handle the logistics, the questions, and the curveballs.

  • You won’t need to look at a clock all day. That’s my job. From hair and makeup to photos, ceremony, and reception events, I manage the full schedule and make sure everything happens right on cue.

  • I gather and review contracts from your hired vendors to make sure everything promised is delivered exactly as agreed. Then eight weeks before your wedding, I become the vendor point of contact so you can RELAX. I want you to enjoy the last few weeks of your engagement together (it sure flies by)!

  • In order to plan and coordinate your dream wedding day, you need a professional with the education and experience you can rely on.  As a Certified Wedding Planner through the nation’s leading wedding planning certification program, I promise you and your loved ones can trust me with your special day.
